Retired U.S. Army Major General Dennis Kenneally and wife Lois say San Diego is a perfect city for boating, especially when you have access to the beautiful, private marina at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot. Maxum magazine ran into the couple there while photographing the inspiring story "Semper Fidelis", and the Kenneallys were gracious enough to let us use their new Maxum 2400 SR3 as a super stylish shooting platform. Dennis' mom, Marilynn, joined us for the cruise of the famously scenic bay. "San Diego is a great place for military families because the community is so supportive, and the facilities here are terrific," says Dennis. The 2400 SR3 is the Kenneallys' first boat, and they couldn't be happier with its performance--and the fun factor it brings to their lives. Adds Dennis, "It's an ideal situation for enjoying San Diego...and life."
